Our Eco Stance

In the UK, we are using 38.5 million plastic bottles every single day and struggling to recycle half of those.

It will take upto 1000 years for a plastic bottle to biodegrade in landfill and 450 years in the ocean.

Each day approximately 8 million pieces of plastic pollution find their way into our oceans.

Scientist now believe that by 2050 the weight of plastic will be equal to the weight of fish in all the worlds oceans

These are truly terrifying statistics, and being lovers of the Shropshire countryside and our nations beaches and oceans we want to do our bit for the enviroment.

The Pizza Trailer does not use any plastic to serve any produce. We only use fully compostable packaging.

 All of our paper plates are made from palm leaf and are 100 % compostable

Our greaseproof paper is made from FSC paper and is certified 100% compostable

Our napkins are made from recycled paper and are also 100% compostable

We only sell either recyclable canned drinks or the amazing Eco for life water bottles which are made 100% from plants and fully compostable.

 The effects of cleaning products on our planets water may not be hitting the headlines like plastics, but it

has been proven that traces of cleaning products such as Phosphates and nitrogen actually have a

fertilising effect causing mass growth of aquatic plants, which then in turn starve the water of oxygen.

 All from cleaning products going down the drain!

However all of the cleaning products we use on The Pizza Trailer are eco friendly. They are made entirely

from plant based materials, free from hazardous chemicals and are fully biodegradable.
